Lower portion of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, broken off at the top and left; with writing on one side, the back being blank. On the front, there are the ends of 3 lines written across the fibres; lower and right margins survive. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Provenance: Philadelpheia, meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 2486-2542 from Maurice Nahman (b. 1868, d. 1948) in September 1922. Part of a joint purchase with the University of Michigan and Cornell University.
