- (1.) 'Piccolo Play', for piccolo and piano; 1989. Composition draft ('final sketches'). Piccolo part, bearing a dedication 'To Jan Gippo'. Some leaves have rougher sketches on the verso, either for the same composition or for 'Echoes Through Time'.
- (2.) 'Fanfare for a New Hall', for two trumpets (also known as 'Music for a New Hall'); 1992. Score. A red post-it note indicates a connection of the 'A-C-Ess' motif to the Aaron Copland School (part of the university at which Musgrave is a professor, Queens College, City University of New York).
- (3.) Wind Quintet; 1989–1993. Sketches. Composition draft. Score, bearing a dedication 'To Orpheus Wind Quintet'.
- (4.) 'Orfeo III', for flute and string quintet (2 violins, viola, cello, double bass); 1993. Flute part. Score.
