Contract drawn up by the notary Ammonius in Pathyris, recording the sale of one arura of land from Patous, son of Pelaias, to Takoibis, daughter of Patous, at the price of one talent. Patous had bought the land from Peteharsemtheus, son of Panebchounis. With summary of the deed (scriptura interior, originally rolled up and sealed) in column 1 and original clay seal, showing a head turning to the right, with head covering or crown (TM Seal 897).

Papyrus roll, light-brown, broken off to the right, with some holes and surface damage in places; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There are two columns, the first of 5 lines, the second of 13 broad lines, some of which lack the ends. Upper, lower and left margins are extant. In the lower margin (60 mm), traces of ink are visible. Two sheet-joins running from top to bottom are visible. The original seal is preserved. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
