The book contains information on the appraisal of lands in Cheran to determine the tax value. It also contains documentation on the communities of Uruapan and San Angel; conficts over use of resources in disputed territories; and the division of lands in the communities of Angahuan and Charapan. The volume consists primarily of correspondence, petitions, legal records, and reports.
The volume consists of 256 folios, which have been bound together and numbered. Documents relating to specific communities and/or processes are loosely grouped together and roughly organized according to date.
The volume shows some deterioration, with some individual folios in poor condition.
