The manuscript comprises two texts, incomplete, written in verses. The manuscript is in good condition; the leaves are more and less darkened by fungus infestation and the 50 first ones are lightly damaged by rodents without inconveniencing the reading. Text 1- The text is made of palm leaves numbered from 1 to 89; the leaves 14; 16-21 and 24 are missing. It describes diseases of children (kuḷikaṉ), among them, diverse kinds of civappu which correspond to red patches on the skin. The types of kuḷikaṉ mentioned are: vali kuḷikaṉ, āṇantaṉ kuḷikaṉ, cūcaṉ kuḷikaṉ and ciṅka kuḷikaṉ; and those of civappu: kiranti civappu, ūcinīr civappu, talaiyār civappu, timir civappu, civakappu nākalippu, cūriya civappu, taṭāka civappu and piṅka civakappu.

Text 2- The text, composed of palm leaves numbered between 22 and 33 (leaves 23-26 and 32 are missing) and additional leaves describes diverse diseases related to failure in urinary tract called piramēkam.

Size of the manuscript: 34.5cm x 3.0cm. The manuscript is in good condition. The first 50 leaves are lightly damaged by rodents, but that does not hinder the reading. Text 1: the leaves are numbered from 1 to 89; some are missing: 14; 16-21 and 24. There are two leaves numbered 7. Text 2: the leaves are numbered from 22 to 33; some are missing: 23-26 and 32. Some leaves with various numbers complete the manuscript.
