The manuscript is composed of two incomplete texts. It is in average condition as some palm leaves have been damaged by rodents.
Text 1- This text, attributed to Akattiyar and written in verses, is composed of 12 palm leaves numbered from 93 to 104. It describes 96 types of diseases caused by vāta imbalance, 18 types of delirium (caṉṉi), among them ruttirāṅka caṉṉi, pirama caṉṉi, cītāṅka caṉṉi, tāntirika caṉṉi, kaṭai caṉṉi, puṟānēttira caṉṉi and icivai caṉṉi, diseases caused by colic pain (kapāla cūlai and vāta karappaṉ cūlai). It details medicines (maruntu) for treating delirium and colic pains and some decoctions (kuṭinīr) for treating diseases caused by vāta imbalance.
Text 2- This text, written in verses, is composed of 11 palm leaves numbered from 170 to 184; the leaves 174 to 177 are missing. It deals with the different types of exanthematous fever (vaicūri nōykkaḷ). The types mentioned are: ūtira maṇṭali, ūtiraṅkoṇṭāṉ, ūtira ekki, ūṇakkacappaṭai, kōṭaiyituvāṉ, koṇiyal pattu, uṇaruṅkaruñcappaṭai, uṇakalavakai, nīlavakai, aṉali, atukkaḷai vakai, veḷḷai mucuruvu, karu mucuruvu, veḷḷaipāḷai, maṇalvāri, aruci, ciṟumaṇali, perumaṇal vāri, koppuḷam, vacūri aḻal and uḷkāccal. It discrbes some medicinal formulas such as decoctions (kutinīr) and gruel (kañci) for treating dysentery, medicines (maruntu) for treating rhinitis caused by vaicūri and for calming pricking pain related to vaicūri. This text describes the dietary regimen prescribed for vaicūri condition, notably consumption of milk. For reducing fever, gel from aloe vera leaves mixed with fresh coconut milk is applied on the whole body including scalp (tuvālai).
Additionally, the text provided some information about drugs for treating kāl piraḻi (a type of fits) and vikkal piraḻi (a type of fits associated with hiccup), and presents a formula of an oil applied on head for treating various types of diseases.
