The manuscript is composed of a text written in verses on 88 leaves. The manuscript is in good condition.
The text focuses on the vāta humour. It describes the place of origin of vāta in the body and period of the day where vāta dominates.the text informs on the etiology of vāta diseases and on remedies and medicinal formulation for treating them. It mentions the names of types of vāta such as kapāla vātam, nēttira vātam, karṇika vātam, piṭari vātam and kaṇ vātam. The medicinal formulations mentioned in the text are: Pūtāti tailam, Tēvatār tailam, Ciṅka vēr tailam, Vilācattu eṇṇey, Mūtiyār kūntal eṇṇey, Valiya piṟatāriṇi eṇṇey, Kuṟuntōṭṭi eṇṇey, as well as a medicated oil (eṇṇey) for oṟṟal (itching).
Size of the manuscript: 31.5cm x 3.0cm. The manuscript is in excellent condition; only the leaf 60 is slightly broken. The text is complete and numbered from 1 to 88.
