The manuscript is formed of a text containing 73 palm leaves. The leaves from 58 to 69 are slightly damaged. The manuscript is realised in leaves of Corypha Umbraculifera.
The text deals with mantras and hymns. The names of hymns (stōtiram) mentioned are: Takṣinamūrtti pañcara (Sk. Dakṣinamurti), Cupiramaṇiya stōtira (Sk. Subramaniya), Ṥiva kavaca, Tēvi kavaca, Ṥri Vityā stōtira and Tēvi Tiricāti stōtira. The text describes the Āvaharti hōma as well as some mantiraṅkaḷ in Tamil and Sanskrit languages. The mantiraṅkaḷ specified in Tamil concern Reṇukai, Keḻai Aṭittu pārttal, and Viḻam (to ward off poison). The mantiraṅkaḷ specified in Sanskrit concern Haṉumaṉ, Cūliṉi, Kārtavīrya, Cukapracava, Raja Mataṅki, Asvarutā, Pañcākṣari, Citamparākṣara, Aṣṭakṣari, Garuṭapañcakṣari, Cutarcaṉa, Nāmatraya, Lakutāntava, matrikā Sarasvāti, Ṥricūkta nyāca and Akōra mantiram.
The text presents a medicine for treating vippuruti (carbuncle).
Size of the manuscript: 28.0cm x 6.0cm. The manuscript is in good condition; the leaves from 58 to 69 are slightly damaged by rodents. The text is numbered from 1 to 69; the leaves 22, 23 and 24 are missing.
