The bundle is composed of two sub-parts.

Sub-part 1 - The part, composed of 7 leaves, is incomplete. In this text, Mārkaṇṭeyaṉ learns the story of his birth and prays Śiva for changing his objective.

The representatives of Yamā, the god of death, come to the earth to catch Mārkaṇṭeyaṉ, who ignores them and continues to perform his pūja to Śiva. After a long debate between the representatives of Yamā and Mārkaṇṭeyaṉ, the formers return to Yamā lōkam (Yamā's kingdom) and explain to Yamā the refusal of Mārkaṇṭeyaṉ to quit the world.

Sub-part 2 - This part, composed of 24 leaves, is incomplete. This text describes the Yamā lōkam and the procedures of punishment according to the sin committed by each individual.

Size of the manuscript: 60.0cm x 3.5cm. The condition of this part of manuscript is badly damaged by rodents; many leaves are broken and the manuscript is extremely fragile and breakable. The palm leaves of the 1st sub-part is composed of 5 leaves numbred from 3 to 6; the number of the two first leaves is not visible as the leaves are broken. The 1st sub-part is composed of 5 leaves numbered from 3 to 6; the number of the two first leaves is not visible as the leaves are broken. The 2nd sub-part is composed of 25 leaves numbered from 12 to 33; the number of many leaves is not visible as the leaves are broken. Some leaves are missing: 11, 18 and 33.
