The manuscript is made up of a text containing palm leaves numbered from 2 to 10; there are two leaves numbered 8. The manuscript is in good condition. The leaves are very darkened by fungus, and one of the leaves n°8 has some scripts damaged by mould.
The text, written in verses, is a compilation (pala tiraṭṭu) of information on the practice of varmam, collected from various texts.
The text specifies the fatal signs (maraṇa kuṟi, acāttiya kuṟi) when particular vital spots (varmam) are injured, notably those described in a text entitled Varma Kanāṭi Nūl. It presents 13 methods to relax (aṭaṅkal) injured vital spots.
Size of the manuscript: 22.7cm x 3.4cm. The palm leaves are numbred from 2 to 9 in Tamil and Arab and one is numbered 10 in Arab. There are two leaves n°8 and there are two leaves placed at the beginning of the text and the end of the manuscript. The manuscript is in good condition. The leaves are very darkened by fungus, and that number 8 has some scripts damaged by mould.
