The manuscript is constituted of a text whose the palm leaves are numbered from 1 to 100; there are two leaves numbered 2, and three leaves blank (n° 49, 84 and 99). The manuscript is in excellent condition; two leaves are broken.
The text, written in both prose and verses, present formulations to prepare the following medicines:
A decoction (kuṭinīr) for treating anemia (pāṇṭu).
Medicated oils: Navakaṇṭa tailam, Icaṅku vēr tailam and Rāmapāṇa tailam, as well as a tailam for treating insanity (paittiyam); Mānta eṇṇey and Mulaipāl eṇṇey.
Dried plant powders: Aritāra cūraṇam, Paraṅkipaṭṭai cūraṇam, Tāḷicapattiri cūraṇam, Kukkuṭa cūraṇam and Nilavākai cūraṇam; Caṉṉi tūḷ.
Electuaries: Cātikāi lēkiyam, Tēṅkāi lēkiyam, Iñci lēkiyam, Amirta cañcīvi lēkiyam, Pūraṇa lēkiyam and Cayakāca lēkiyam, as well as a lēkiyam for treating tuberculosis (cayam).
Pills: Cūṭāmaṇi kuḷikai, Vāta raṭccakaṉ kuḷikai, Mataṉa kāmecvari kuḷikai, Viṣa kōṭāli kuḷikai, Tirumaṉaiaṭaintāṉ kuḷikai and Ruttirāṭcca kuḷikai; Kulāntakaṉ māttirai, Cura māttirai, Cañcīvi māttirai, Pañarattiṉāti māttirai, Kānta raca māttirai, Caṉṉi māttirai, Kōrōcaṇai māttirai, Aṉṉapēti māttirai, Kaṭurōkiṉi māttirai, Kōṭācuṭi māttirai, Pañca pūpati māttirai, Nīlakaṇṭa vālai māttirai, Rāmapāṇam māttirai and Veṭṭumārpaṉ; Viṣṇu cakkaram.
Wax-like medicines: Cavvīra meḻuku, Kenti raca meḻuku, Pañcalōka meḻuku and Vāṉ meḻuku; Kaṉakaliṅka kaṟpūrāti and iṭivalāti; Caṇṭamāruta kuḻampu, Cātiliṅka kuḻampu and Tēṅkāi kuḻampu.
Calcined white medicines prepared from metals and minerals: Pāṣāṇa paṟpam, Kantaka paṟpam, Vaṅka paṟpam and Raca paṟpam.
Calcined red medicines prepared from metals and minerals: Cātiliṅka centūram, Āṟumuka centūram, Cuyamākkiṉi centūram and Kālamēka nārāyaṉa centūram.
Stone-like medicines: Navalōka kaṭṭu and Liṅka kaṭṭu.
Mercury-based medicines: Kālantaka kauri.
Medicated fumes (pukai) for treating painful throbs in head (maṇṭai cūlai).
An ointment (kaḷimpu) for treating wounds (puṇ).
Size of the manuscript: 29.5cm x 4.5cm. The text contains palm leaves numbered from 1 to 100 in Tamil and Arab; the leaves 49, 84, 99 are blank and two leaves are numbered 2. The manuscript is in excellent condition; two leaves are broken.
