The manuscript is constituted of an incomplete text numbered from 1 to 39. The manuscript is in average condition: the leaves are twisted, bitten by rodents (from 1 to 20), and the reading of a part of the text is hardly visible.
The text concerns veterinary medicine of cattle. It mentions the diseases which affect the cattle with their clinical features, medicines and their administration, notably: convulsive disorders (āṉai vali; kutirai vali; rāmuṭṭi aṭaippāṉ); burning eyes (kaṇṇeṟi nōy); oral ulcer (muṉṭaippāṉ nōy); bleeding disorders (utira ceṅkāmāri, utira aṭaippāṉ, utira veppu nōy); diarrhea (eruviḷakki nōy); diseases caused by parasites (talaimaṇṭai paru; caṇali nōy; nār nōy; tavari nōy) and seasonal diseases (nīrpaṭu nōy; paruva nōy; paṇi nōy) ; and diseases not identified such as elluruvi nōy, karunovin nōy and kuralmuṭṭi nōy.
Size of the manuscript: 26.5cm x 3.0cm. The palm leaves of the text are numbered from 1 to 39. A blank leaf is placed at the beginning of the manuscript. The manuscript is in average condition. The leaves are twisted, and those from 1 to 20 bitten by rodents. The writting is hardly visible on a part of the leaves 1 to 11.
