The manuscript is composed of three texts, incomplete and written in verses. The manuscript is an average condition, the leaves being bitten by roden and darkened by fungus infestation.
Text 1- The text contains palm leaves numbered from 1 to 57. Entitled, Uruvu Pirivu Tattuvam, it focuses on anatomy and physiology of human body by providing information on the body mass (maṉitarkaḷiṉ eṭai, tūkku niṟai), the five elements which composed the body (pūta pirivu) and physical constituents (tēka kaṭṭu), the bones (atti) and nerves (narampu), the three systems of body-system layers (aṉṉamayam), respiratory-system layers (pirāṇa mayam) and mental-system layers (maṉōmayam). It describes the ten types of pulse (taca nāṭi), the three respiratory courses (caram iṭakalai, valakalai and cuḻimuṉai), and the ten types of gases (tacavāyu).
The text further provides information on the concept of soul (ātma tattuvam), the eight passions (aṣṭa rāka viparam), the knowledge (vitiya tattuvam) and wisdom (viñāṉa tattuvam), the six chakras (ātāra nilai), the letters associated to the chakras (aṭcara nilai) and the eight types of yoga (aṣṭāṅka yōkam). It mentions also astronomical sites (maṇṭalam). It develops the philosophical concepts related to Ṥiva (Civa tattuvam) and describes the period called yuka caṅku.
Text 2- The text contains palm leaves numbered from 1 to 9. It explains the 96 physical and functional constituents (96 tattuvam).
Text 3- The text, entitled Akattiar Kuḻampu, contains 3 leaves numbered from 1 to 3 on which is presented the formulation of Akattiyar kuḻampu, an internal medicine of waxy consistency.
Size of the manuscript: 18.7cm x 3.6cm. The palm leaves of the three texts are numbered respectively 1 to 56+1, 1 to 9, 1 to 3 (text 1 and 3 in Tamil; text 2 in Arab).There are 12 blank leaves dispatched between each text. The manuscript is in average condition. It has been bitten by rodents from leaf n°19 to the end.
