The manuscript contains 4 texts, incomplete and written in prose and verses, which deal with medical subjects. The manuscript is in excellent condition.
Text 1- The text, entitled Varma Cūttiram nūl, contains palm leaves numbered from 1 to 15. It focuses on the more and less severe injuries in energy spots (varmam) injuries, notably tilarta kālam, naṭcattira kālam, cevi kuṟṟi kālam, piṭari kālam, uṟakka kālam, tummi kālam, aṭappa kālam, uṟumi kālam, curukki kālam, curukki kālam, kallaṭai kālam and aṭakka kālam; nēr varmam; valiaya atti and ciṟiya atti. It describes the method of relaxing (iḷakku muṟai) varmaṅkaḷ in order to treat injuries.
Text 2- The text is composed of palm leaves numbered from 1 to 7. It concerns pulse reading (nāṭi tērvu) whose it describes the three types (vāta, pitta and cileṟpaṇa), their clinical characteristics and derangement (mukkuṟṟa nāṭi). It specifies the sensation of taste (cuvai) that dominates according to the pulse condition.
Text 3- The text has palm leaves numbered from 1 to 30. It concerns pulse (nāṭi) whose it presents the three types and their state when health is not affected and is affected by diseases. The count of nerves (narampu tokai), the state of pulses (nāṭi naṭai) in male, and in fatal condition (maraṇa kuri) are discussed. This text describes the diagnostic methods (nōy aṟital) consisting in examination of taste (cuvai), urine (nīr kuṟi), motion (mala kuṟi), eyes (nayaṉa kuṟi), tongue (nāvu kuṟi) and body (tēka kuṟi).
Text 4-The text, entitled Vāta Tiṟavukōl, is constituted of palm leaves numbered from 1 to 5 on which formulations of medicines based on fuller's earth (vaḻalai muṟai), and a white calcined medicine prepared from soap stone (cavukāra cuṇṇam) are exposed. The text describes a medicinal preparation, called Aiṅkōla piṇṭam, prepared with amniotic fluid, blood or body parts of an aborted fetus (piṇṭam) of five months old (aiṅkōla).
Size of the manuscript: 15.8cm x 4.0cm. The three first texts have respectively 15, 7 and 29 palm leaves without numbering; the fourth text is numbered in Tamil from 1 to 5. There is an additional The manuscript is in excellent condition.
