The manuscript is formed of four texts related to literature and religion. The texts are written in Telugu or in Grantha (Tamil scripts for transcribing Sanskrit literature). They are incomplete. The condition of the manuscript is good; a few leaves are slightly broken.
Text 1- The text, entitled Parāśara Śāstram and written in Telugu, is composed of 39 numbered palm leaves. It is composed of parts of the Dharma Śāstra written by Parāśara (Sk. Parāśara). These parts describe and explain the rules to perform the pūjai and ōmam.
Text 2- The text, entitled Nīti Catakam and written in Grantha, contains palm leaves numbered from 1 to 11. It was written in verses by Pātruhari (Sk. Bartṛhari; a Sanskrit poet of the 13-14th century). The text comprises: Nīti Śatakam, Sruṅkāra Śatakam and Vairākkya Śatakam. Śatakam is a compilation of 100 verses. Regarding Nīti Śatakam which is complete, the text is a kind of code of morality and of conduct.
Text 3- The text, entitled Ampāḷ Aṣtotram, is in Grantha scripts. It is composed of two palm leaves devoted to the names of the goddess Amman used to worship her. Among her 108 names, 64 are listed in this text.
Text 4- The text, Pañcasya Haṉumāṉ Mantra, is in Grantha scripts. It is composed of a palm leaf devoted to the worship of Lord Añjanēya (a representation of god with five faces) by using mantiram, and forms of workshiping called aṅkaṉyācam (lying down in front the deity), karaṉyācam (feeling the diety through ones hands) and tiyāṉam (meditation).
Size of the manuscript: 40.0cm x 3.3cm. The text 1 has 39 palm leaves numbered in Telugu or without number; the text 2, 11 palm leaves numbered from 1 to 11 and the text 3 and 4 have 2 and 1 palm leaves respectively, numbered in Tamil. There is an additional leaf on land limits and 4 blank leaves. The condition of the manuscript is good; a few leaves are slightly broken.
