The manuscript is composed of four texts concerning the cittar Kampaḷi Caṭṭai Kailāca Muṉivar and his work. The first part of his name comes from the fact that the yogi was clothed in fur garment (kampaḷi caṭṭai); Kailāca refers to the Kailash mountain [Kangrinboqê Feng] (Himalaya) and Muṉivar is a title given to saint. The manuscrip is in good condition; some leaves are broken.
Text 1- The text, entitled Kaṟppa Vaḻalai-100, describes Kampaḷi Caṭṭai Kailāca Muṉivar, a cittar (yogi supposed author of siddha texts). The text mentions that this cittar wrote many texts, among them, Kayakaṟpam-100 and Nikaṇṭu-900. These two texts are considered as rare.
Text 2- The text is a part of Nikaṇṭu-900 written by Kampaḷi Caṭṭai Kailāca Muṉivar. Nikaṇṭu is a type of poetic form in order to facilitate the memorization of the text. In this Nikaṇṭu, the rule is slightly deviated.
The subjects approached in this text are: wisdom; devils (pūtam); diseases caused by vāta imbalance (vātam); several medical plants among them an herb called cāraṇai; and some distillates (ceyanīr, nīr).
Text 3- The text is a compilation of disparate palm leaves which deals with Vedanta philosophy.
Text 4- The text, entitled Tāmira Paṟpam, documents different methods of preparing a calcined salt of copper (tāmira paṟpam), the dosage of this product for treating diseases and the diseases for which it is recommended.
Size of the manuscript: 24.0cm x 3.6cm. The palm leaves of the 2 first texts are numbered from 1 to 23 and from 24 to 184. The leaves 15, 27, 50; 55-65, 79, 83 and 123 are missing. The texts 3 and 4 are formed of 12 disparate leaves. There are 5 disparate and broken leaves and 7 blank leaves, among them 5 are placed at the end of the manuscript.
