The manuscript is comprises a text of 20 palm leaves comprising 12 without a number or a missing number due to the broken state of the leaves, and 8 with a number. Its condition is average as some leaves are partly damaged.
The text, written in prose and verses, is a compilation of leaves coming from diverse manuscripts. It describes the preparations of Vālai kumaran, Viṣṇu cakkara māttirai and Raca centūram, as well as medicated oils (eṇṇey) for treating muscular atrophy in infants (kaṇai), enlargement of lymph node in neck region (kaṇṭamālai) and gastritis (kuṉmam), a medicated ghī (ney) for treating eye diseases (kaṇ nōykaḷ), and medicines (maruntu; not named) for treating stomach ache (vayiṟṟu nōvu), scrotal swelling (aṇṭa vātam), diarrhoea (pēti), indigestion in infants (viṣa māntam), growths (vippuruti), urinary tract infection (mēkam), poisoning by scorpion stings (tēḷ kaṭi viṣam), dog bites (nāy kaṭi). It provides a preparation for an oil supposed treat babies’ diseases caused by transgression, notably bad influence from a person who did not take bath (kuḷi tōṣam).
Size of the manuscript: 27.0cm x 3.2cm. The text has 12 palm leaves without a number and leaves numbered 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 39, 48 and 110. The condition of the manuscript is average as some leaves are partly damaged.
