The manuscript contains a text of 15 palm leaves, among them two are blank and two have a drawing. The manuscript is in bad condition; some leaves are broken.
The text, entitled Vaittiya Aṭṭavaṇai and written in prose, describes some diseases as well as medicines and their dosage to treat them. The diseases which are focused are: flatus (vāyupantam), constipation (malapantam), diarrhoea (vayaṟu kaḻittal and vayiṟṟu pōkku), abdominal colic (vayiṟu kaṭuppu) and cough (irumal), fever (curam), delirium (caṉṉi) and eye diseases (nayaṉa viyāti).
The formulations of medicine specified in the text are: Liṅka meḻuku and Kaṉaka liṅka meḻuku and an ointment (kalimpu) for healing all types of wounds (aṉaittu puṇkaḷ).
Size of the manuscript: 21.7cm x 3.8cm. The manuscript is composed of palm leaves numbered in Tamil and not numbered belonging to diverse texts, among them two are blank and two have a yatiram. The manuscript is in bad condition; some leaves are broken.
