The manuscript contains a text of 23 palm leaves related to varma practice. A first leaf indicates that the text entitled Pōkar Varma Cūttiram (treatise of varmam). The manuscript is in good condition, slightly affected by larvae.
The text, written in verses, explains the significance of varma practice, the types and sites of vital points (varmam) and the method to heal injured varmam. It provides types of medicine to treat diseases caused by injuries of vital points.
Size of the manuscript: 28.5cm x 2.5cm. The manuscript is composed of palm leaves numbered in Tamil from 1 to 23; there are an introductive leaf, a blank leaf and a second leaf numbered 13. The manuscript is in good condition, slightly affected by larvae.
