Title in original script: தலைப்பு இல்லை (அகராதி)
The manuscript is composed of a text, written in prose, which is formed by palm leaves numbered between 2 and 60; the leaves 4 to 20, 22 to 24, 26 to 49, 50 and 58 are missing. The manuscript has 3 additional leaves. Its state is good, the leaves having been slightly affected by larvae.
Text 1- The text describes the formulations of medicines, raw materials and quantities used to prepare them and the appropriate time to administrate the remedies. The formulations concern Elāti kuḷikai and medicines (maruntu; not named) for treating dysentery (kirāṇi), cholera (kālara pēti), jaundice (mañcaḷ noy), watery eyes (kaṇṇil puḷḷa nīr), peri-anal abscess (muḷaiyuṭaṉ kūṭiya kaṭṭi), skin diseases with black patches (karuṅkuṣṭam), and used in postnatal care (piḷḷai piṟantavaḷ) as well as a medicated oil (tailam) for treating diabetes Mellitus (nīriḻivu). The text mentions a slow poisonous substance (maruntīṭu) administered with food in the intention to kill or to cause damage to a person.
Additional leaves: The first of the leaves concerns the formulations of Vīra veṇṇay and Vīra centūram. The two other leaves provide a list of villages and towns whose the names finish by kuṟicci; kuṟicci means a town or a town in hilly track.
Size of the manuscript: 22.0cm x 3.4cm. The palm leaves of the text 1 are numbered from 3 to 42; the leaves 4, 10, 13, 39-40 are missing. There are two leaves without a number and two blank leaves placed at the beginning and at the end of the text. The manuscript is in bad condition. The leaves are severely affected by larvae and stuck by fungus infestation.
