The manuscript is formed of a text of 25 leaves mostly without numbering and 5 blank leaves; the text is incomplete. The manuscript is in excellent condition, only the last leaf of the text has been bitten by rodent.
The text, written in prose, exposes the formulation of Elāti cūraṇam and Nilavākai cūraṇam, Raca paṟpam and Kumāra paṟpam; Aya centūram; Pūmaṇi māttirai and Cura māttirai, Parāka meḻuku; Mataṉa kāmēsvara lēkiyam and Vilvāti lēkiyam. It describes an oil (eṇṇey) for treating eczema (karappāṉ), a pill (uruṇṭai) against cough (irumal), as well as medicines (maruntu; not named) for treating eye diseases (kaṇ), venereal diseases (veḷḷai mēkam), dysmenorrhoea (cūtaka vāyu), cholera-like diseases (vānti pēti), sinusitis (pīṉicam), poison bites (viṣa kaṭi), and scrotal swelling (aṇṭa vāyu) and one specific medicine considered as able to treat all types of diseases (cakala viyāti).
Size of the manuscript: 15.5cm x 3.0cm. The 25 palm leaves of the text have no number. Two blank leaves are placed at the beginning and at the end of the text. Except a leaf which was bitten by rodent, the manuscript is in excellent condition.
