The manuscript is constituted of a text with 17 palm leaves numbered from 1 to 19 (leaves 6-8 and 16-17 are missing and two leaves are numbered 13) and 63 and 64. The manuscript is in excellent condition.
The text, written in prose, deals with mantiram and preparations of medicines. The mantiraṅkaḷ and yantiraṅkaḷ it presents are used in worship (pūjai) to invoke Vākvātiṉi (Sanskrit, Sarasvatī) and Kaṇapati, as well as are used for special purposes such as to treat tremors in head (talaiyāṭiṉāl), to create conflicts between people (pirivu) and to be able to control the natural forces (stampaṉam).
The preparations of medicines the text exposes concern Apraka paṟpam and Pañcapāṇṭava kuḷikai, and medicated oil (eṇṇey) and medicines (maruntu, not named) against colic pain caused by ulcers (veṭi cūlai), and to treat eye diseases (kaṇ nōy) and to improve potency (tātu).
Size of the manuscript: 16.5cm x 3.0cm. The palm leaves of the text are numbered from 1 to 19, 63 and 64; two leaves are numbered 13 and the leaves 6 to 8 and 16 to 17 are missing. Two blank leaves are placed at the beginning and 3 at the end of the text. Except a leaf which was bitten by rodent, the manuscript is in excellent condition.
