The manuscript is composed of a text of 7 disparate palm leaves with and without a number. The manuscript is in average condition, the leaves being damaged by larvae et some being broken.
The text, written in prose, approaches diverse subjects. Some leaves present the preparation of centūram (calcined red medicine prepared from metals and minerals), and a medicine (maruntu; not named) for treating dysentery (kirāṇi), ulcers linked to growths (kiranti puṇ) as well as an antidote (muṟivu maruntu). A leaf relates that the women residing in a particular plot (maṉaiyil uḷḷa peṇ) who have insufficient lactation or need to improve their milk secretion (pāl vaṟṟi viṭṭāl), have to tie on their breast, the plantain leaves collected from a tree which spreads its leaves towards the northern direction during amāvācai (no moon night). Other leaves describe several mantiraṅkaḷ which is written on betel leaves (veṟṟilai) and used for stopping diseases caused by bad influence (tōṣam).
Size of the manuscript: 20.5cm x 3.4cm. The 7 palm leaves of the text have and have not a number. Two blank leaves are put at the beginning and at the end of the text. The manuscript is in average condition, the leaves being damaged by larvae et some being broken.
