The manuscript is composed of 11 palm leaves coming from various medical texts written in prose and of 3 blank leaves. The manuscript is slightly affected by larvae; several leaves are broken.
The text describes formulations of medicines by informing on the necessary quantity of the raw materials including medicinal plants, mode of administration dosage forms and the diseases cured by them. The diseases mentioned in the text are those caused by vāta imbalance (cakala vātam), eye diseases (nēttira vāyu), venereal diseases (cī piramiyam) as well as dysentery (aticāram) treated by a dry plant powder (cūraṇam). The text presents formulations of medicated fumes (pukai) and nasal medicines (naciyam).
Size of the manuscript: 17,5cm x 2,8cm. The text is composed of 10 palm leaves numbered 121/62, 109, 78, 84, 79, 85, 77, 76, 123/64 and 28 and a leaf not numbered. the leaves 9 and 10 are missing. There are two blank leaves placed at the beginning and at the end of the text. The manuscript, in average condition, is slightly affected by larvae; several leaves are broken.
