The manuscript is composed of five texts written on 14 palm leaves. The texts are written in prose. The texts 1 to 3 concern poisonous stings. The manuscript is in average condition; the leaves being damaged by larvae and three of them being broken.

Text 1- The text is made of 8 palm leaves numbered 19, 22 and 26 to 31. It concerns the astrological configuration based on the position of the sun, used to determine the type of poisonous sting of a patient, the prediction of the patient’s health and the antidote to be administered.

Text 2- The text is formed by 2 palm leaves numbered 32 and 33. The text, in Telugu language is written in Grantha scripts. Its topic is the same than that developed in the text 1.

Text 3- The text made of palm leaves numbered as 34 and 40 mentions the names of medicines and the raw material applied externally on the site of poisonous stings.

Text 4- The text, made up of a leaf, present a mantiram devoted to Haṉumāṉ, which is usually chanted 1008 times to fulfil one’s wish.

Text 5- The text containing a leaf provides information on the dimensions of a land situated at Parappuvayal. This information suggests that the manuscript was composed by Subbayyan, great-great-great grand father/great-great grand father of the owners of the manuscripts.

Size of the manuscript: 42,0cm x 2,5cm. The text 1 has 8 palm leaves numbered 19, 22 and 26 to 31; text 2, 2 leaves numbered 32 and 33;text 3, 2 leaves numbered 34 and 40; and text 4 and 5, a leaf without a number. The manuscript is in good condition, except for the first leaf which is partly damaged by rodents.
