The manuscript is constituted of a text of 13 palm leaves numbered between 13 and 52 and of 3 leaves without a number. The manuscript is in bad state: the leaves have been damaged by larvae and rodents; a part of text in several leaves is missing.
The text, written in prose and in scripts called caṅkili eḻuttu (letters written in continuity) is very difficult to read. It presents formulations of medicines for treating poisonous bites with their posology, time of administration and dietary recommendations.
A note written in the leaf n° 22 informs that the text belonged to a person named Kuppaṉ.
Size of the manuscript: 39,5cm x 2,5cm. The text has 15 palm leaves numbered 13,14, 21, 22, 26, 27, 32, 34, 46, and 56, and 3 additional leaves without a number. The manuscript is in bad state: the leaves have been damaged by larvae and rodents; a part of text in, notably, the leaves 32, 34 and 46 is missing.
