The manuscript is made up of a text of composed of palm leaves numbered from 2 to 12; the leaves 5, 10 and 11 are missing. The manuscript is in average condition; the leaves are slightly affected by larvae and four of them have been bitten by rodents so as a part of the text is missing.
The text, written in verses, concerns pulses (nāṭi), their origin (iruppiṭam), duration (vaṇṇam), clinical features and their state (naṭai) notably when the three humours are imbalanced (muttōṣam), as well as the diseases caused by imbalance of vāta and of pitta.
Size of the manuscript: 38,0cm x 3,2cm. The text has 8 palm leaves numbered from 2 to 12; leaves 5 and 10-11 are missing. The manuscript is in average condition; the leaves are slightly affected by larvae and four of them have been bitten by rodents so as a part of the text is missing.
