The manuscript is composed of a text written on 18 palm leaves constituted of 4 leaves numbered 68, 85, 86 and 90, and 14 leaves without numbering because they are very deteriorated. The manuscript, having being affected by fungus and rodents, is in extremely bad condition.
The text, written in verses, describes a medicated salt,named Naliyuppu, a medicine (maruntu; not named) for treating 18 types of skin diseases (18 vakaiyāṉa kuṣṭa rōkaṅkaḷ) as well as the preparation of distillates/acids (tirāvakam).
It presents a magic black past used as eye liner (pātāḷa añcaṉam) and the method to ward off evil spirit (picācu oṭṭa).
Size of the manuscript: 27,0cm x 3,2cm. The text has 18 palm leaves constituted of 4 leaves numbered 68, 85, 86 and 90 and of 14 leaves without numbering because they are very deteriorated. The manuscript, having being affected by fungus and rodents, is in extremely bad condition. .
