Upper papyrus (A) (SB XVI 12867, P.Lond. III 1315(a) descr., TM 16312): Beginning of a lease of some land between the farmer Aurelius Pcylis, son of Sophia, and Aurelius Victor, of Hermopolis; the details are lost due to the fragmentary state of the papyrus. Dated to 13 August 584.
Lower papyrus (B) (P.Lond. III 1315(b), TM 39621): Seventh-century receipt acknowledging a tax payment, issued by Theodorus.

Two papyrus sheets with writing on one side, the back being blank, mounted on cardboard in the same glass frame.
Upper papyrus (A): Upper portion of a papyrus sheet, with holes and surface damage; portions of 14 lines remain, the last being very mutilated. Upper and left margins survive.
Lower papyrus (B): Small sheet, complete, with 5 complete lines written across the fibres; margins are all minimal.
