Portion of a ‘composite roll’ (tomos synkollesimos) with three registrations of property, submitted to Ptolemaeus and Didymus, keepers of archives.
Column 1: Portion of a registration, the details being lost through mutilation.
Column 2: Registration from Pausiris, son of Horus and Heras, from Tholthis Kato, registering a plot of land located near a temple, inherited from his father, who had died intestate. With the keepers’ instructions added at the top, addressed to some officials.
Column 3: Registration of Tapaosiris, daughter of Paosiris, from Sesphtha, acting with her guardian, registering one arura of land from the allotment of Boethus, ceded to her by Iseis, daughter of Thonis. With the keepers’ instructions added at the top, addressed to some officials.

- Portion of a composite roll, made of three sheets glued together, with detached scrap; broken off to the left, bottom and top; damaged by insect holes throughout; dark-stained at the top right; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There are three columns: of the first, only the ends of the lines survive. Two sheet-joins run from top to bottom. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 232 x 145 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 285 x 205 mm.
Script: Different hands: very cursive hand at the top; small cursive hand in col. 1; upright, hand, exhibiting very few ligatures in column 2, with corrections and occasionally compressed; thin cursive hand in column 3.

Provenance: Oxyrhynchus, Oxyrhynchite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 2103-2238 from Bernard Pyne Grenfell (b. 1869, d. 1926) in May 1920.
