- Upper portion of a light-brown papyrus sheet, broken off at the bottom, with some surface damage along the vertical folds; written on both sides along the fibres. On the back, the beginning of one line survives; on the front, there are 12 lines from the top of a column, with only a trace of line 12. Upper and side margins survive and are minimal. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 116 x 92 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 170 x 150 mm.
Script: Thin, large, sloping hand, rather competent, rarely ligatured; somewhat irregular in letter size.

Origin: Lykopolis (Assiut), Egypt.
Provenance: Hermopolite nome (?), Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 884-1178 from the Reverend Chauncey Murch (b. 1856, d. 1907) on 8 June 1901.
