This volume contains baptismal records from the Church of São João Batista (Baptista) of Icaraí (Carahy, Carii, Carahi) and covers the period between 22 February 1660 and 02 September 1682. There are no opening or closing charters. The volume contains 60 numbered folios, though some of the folios are missing numbers. The entries were signed by: Bento Silveira, Antonio de Sampaio, Joseph de Carvalho, Father Mattheus de Mary, Father João de Barcellos Machado, and Lourenço de Carvalho Araujo.
Physical characteristics: The volume consists of 60 mostly-numbered folios which have been reinforced with Japanese paper. There are some later annotations in pencil and pen. Dimensions: 30 cm x 22cm.
