This volume contains records of slave burials registered in the Church of São João Batista (Baptista) de Icaraí (Carahy, Carii, Carahi). The entries date from 15 September 1772 through 26 Mar 1788. The opening charter was signed on 05 March 1784 by Vicar Manoel Henrique (?). There is no closing charter. There are some testaments in the volume. Entries were signed by the following priests: Commissioned Vicar José da Costa Lopez, Francisco da Silva Trancoso, and José Fonseca Valente.
Physical characteristics: There is no cover. The volume has 99 numbered folios deteriorated by ink. Dimensions: 32cmX24cm.
