This volume contains burial records of free and freed individuals registered in the Church of São João Batista (Baptista) de Icaraí (Carahy, Carii, Carahi) and covers the period between 24 May 1779 and 12 May 1794. There are no opening or closing charters. Entries were signed by the following clergy: Coadjutor João Rabello Mello de Abr.o, Vicar José da Fonseca Valente, and Francisco da Silva Trancoso. Some testaments appear in the volume. African nations and ethnonyms mentioned: Minna (Mina).
