This volume records baptisms of enslaved individuals registered in an unidentified church and dating from 07 Apr 1709 to 11 Nov 1718. There are no opening or closing charters. Vicar Manoel de Valladares and Father João Ferreira da Sylva signed the entries. There are some baptisms of enslaved adults as well as baptisms in which the father of the baptized was freed (forro) and the mother enslaved. African ethnonyms mentioned: Guiné (Guinea).
Physical characteristics: The volume is comprised of 19 uncovered folios that show signs of insect damage. Dimensions: 30.5 x 21cm.
