This volume records baptisms of enslaved, freed (forro), and free people registered in the Church of Nossa Senhora do Cabo da Fazenda Parati in Araruama, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. There are no opening or closing charters. The following clergy signed the entries: Vicar João Rangel de Macedo; Manoel de Santa Catarina; João de S.M. Moura; Francisco Corera Vidigal; and Archangelo de (?). There is a record of a pastoral visit on 11 Jan 1708. African ethnonyms mentioned: Guiné (Guinea).
