This volume records baptisms of enslaved, indigneous, freed (forro) and free people registered in an unidentified church. Entries date from 23 Jun 1842 to 09 Oct 1844. There are no opening or closing charters. The entries were signed by Friar Luiz de Santa Rosa. Burials, found on folios 109v and 110, date from 17 May 1844 to 28 May 1844 ). The celebrant of the sacrament did not sign the majority of the entries. On folio 136v, there is a record of a manumission at the baptismal font (alforria de pia).
Physical characteristics: The volume is comprised of 30 uncovered folios that show signs of insect damage. Dimensions: 31.5 cm X 22cm.
