Fragment of a book of burial records of enslaved and free people registered in the Church of Nossa Senhora da Assunção de Cabo Frio, RJ. Entries date from 28 Nov 1812 to 12 Jun 1816. The opening charter is dated 20 Jun 1799 and was signed by Vicar Manoel D'Almeida Barreto; there is no closing charter Vicar Manoel D'Almeida signed the entries. The volume includes some burial records of indigenous individuals, recorded with their Christian names.
Physical characteristics: The volume has 6 unnumbered folios. It does not have a cover; the folios have been severely damaged by ink and insects. Dimensions: 30cm x 20cm.
