The volume records burials of enslaved, freed (forro/liberto) and free individuals registered in the Church of Nossa Senhora da Assunção de Cabo Frio, in Cabo Frio, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Entries date from 13 Jan 1854 to 05 Dec 1867. The opening and closing charters are dated 10 Jun 1853 and were signed by Domingos D'Oliveira Maia. Vicar José Francisco Marques signed the entries. The volume records a pastoral visit by the Bishop of Petrópolis on 28 Jun 1891.
Physical characteristics: The volume has 300 numbered folios. It shows signs of ink damage; there is no cover and it has detached from the binding. Dimensions: 37cm x 24cm.
