The volume contains burial records of enslaved and free individuals registered in the church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição de Jurujuba, Niterói-RJ. Entries date from 27 Apr 1865 to 28 Aug 1877. The opening and closing charters were signed by Josino do Nascimento Silva on 04 Apr 1877. Entries were signed by the following clergy: João D'Araujo Alves Marinho and Venancio Lins Telles Barreto. There are burial records of a number of children and some individuals identified as "Congo." In some records, the cause of death is noted.
