The volume records baptisms and burials of enslaved individuals registered in the Church of Nossa Senhora de Nazaré, Saquarema-RJ. Entries date from 03 Jan 1836 through 28 Feb 1836. The volume has no opening or closing charter. One of the children whose baptism was recirded had a freed (forro) father and an enslaved mother. African "nations"/ethnonyms mentioned: Guiné (Guinea), Angola, Benguela. Vicar Antonio Joaquim de Freitas signed all entries.
