The volume contains baptismal records of enslaved people registered in the Church of Nossa Senhora da Guia de Pacobaíba, between 23 Feb 1748 and 16 Jul 1810. Entries were signed by the following clergy: Thomas dos Santos, Vicar João Lopes França, Francisco (?) Guimarães, Coadjutor Manoel Caetano Velho de Araujo, Vicar Carlos Dantas de (?) and Pro. Vicar Nicolau Nunez Barros. The following ethnonyms/nations are mentioned: Guiné (Guinea), Cabo Verde, Congo, Angola, Mina and Benguela. Pastoral visits were realized on 13 Sep 1729 and on 18 Oct 1751. Opening and closing charters are not included.
Physical characteristics: The volume consists of 32 numbered folios. It is incomplete and shows signs of insect damage. Dimensions: 33cm x 24cm.
