This volume contains marriage records of free individuals registered in the Church of São Gonçalo do Amarante. Entries date from 31 Jul 1787 through 01 Jul 1807. The opening and closing charters are not included; folios 1, 2, and 133-138 are also missing. The numeration of some folios was done in pencil. The following clergy signed the entries: Vicar Bento José Caetano Barrozo Perreira, Coadjutor José Francisco da Mata, Coadjutor João Cardozo de Carvalho, Father Braz Antonio de Araújo, Vicar Coadjutor Bento José Ferreira da Mata, Coadjutor Domingo Dias, and Vicar Antonio Vicente Roiz (?) Pereira.
Physical characteristics: The volume consists of 140 insect-damaged folios. It has no cover and was stored in a paper folder. Dimensions: 35cm x 25cm.
