This volume records marraiges of freed (forro) and free indivdiuals registered in the Church of São Gonçalo do Amarante-SG, between 14 Jun 1833 and 20 May 1863. It has no opening charter; the closing charter was signed by Vicar Manoel Luis dos Reis Cabral on 01 Mar 1833. The following clergy signed the entries: Vicar Manoel Luis dos Reis Cabral; Coadjutor José da Soledade; Coadjutor Manoel Dias de Carvalho; Vicar Eduardo de Andrade Lima; Coadjutor Custodio José Vieira da Silva; and Coadjutor Francisco de Moraes Silva Bezerro. The volume also records marriages of individuals from Maricá, Itaborahy (Itaboraí), and Porto, Portugal, as well as the marriages of children of enslaved people, though it does not mention whether the bride or groom are enslaved or freed (libertos). Folio 124 documents the marriage of the daughter of one Captain José da Silva Peixoto.
