This volume contains baptismal records of enslaved and free people registered in the Church of São Pedro da Aldeia, São Pedro da Aldeia-RJ. Entries date from 05 Feb 1797 to 08 Feb 1809. The opening and closing charters were signed by Gregório (?) Figueiredo on 10 Feb 1797. The following clergy signed the entries: Coadjutor João de Almeida Barreto, Vicar Sebastião Pires (?) and Coadjutor Manoel Luis Gomes. The volume is incomplete; numeration of the volume is incomplete and irregular.
Physical characteristics: The volume consists of 112 folios. It is incomplete; after the first few pages, the numeration jumps to folio 88, after which pages through folio 198 appear. It has no cover; the folios have come loose from the binding and are damaged. Dimensions: 31cm x 22cm.
