The volume contains marriage records of enslaved and free people registered in the Church of São Pedro da Aldeia, São Pedro da Aldeia-RJ. Entries date from 15 Dec 1849 to 03 Aug 1872. There is no opening charter; the closing charter was signed on 04 Dec 1849 by Vicar Manoel Martins Teixeira. Entries were signed by the following clergy: Vicar Manoel Martins Teixeira, Father Thomás Antonio de Mattos, and Father João Coutinho da Fonseca.
Physical characteristics: The volume consists of 234 numbered folios. It does not have a cover; some of the folios have come loose from the binding. The folios are torn and have holes and are missing pieces. Some of the folios have later annotations made in pencil and ballpoint pen. Dimensions: 42cm x 27cm.
