The volume contains marriage and baptismal records of enslaved and free people registered in the Church of São Pedro da Aldeia, São Pedro da Aldeia-RJ.Entries date from 13 Sep 1887 to 08 Feb 1930. The baptismal records date from 07 Jul 1921 to 26 Jul 1921 and are found on folios 42v through 44v. Opening and closing charters were signed by Vicar Manoel Martins Teixeira on 23 Aug 1887. Entries were signed by the following clergy: Vicar Manoel Martins Teixeira, Vicar Alfredo da Silva Bastos, Father Estevam José Oliveira, Father José Duarte Nunes, and Father Guilherme José Marques. On folio 36, there is a record of a pastoral visit signed by the Bishop of Petrópolis, Francisco, on 05 Jul 1898.
