This volume contains burial records of enslaved and free individuals registered in the Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição de Porto das Caixas, Itaboraí-RJ. Entries date from 28 Aug 1854 to 31 Jan 1860. The opening charter was signed by Joaquim Antonio da Costa Cordeiro on 14 Sep 1854; there is no closing charter. The following clergy signed the entries: João (?) Carneiro; João Lourenço (?); and João Ignacio Mesquita. There is a record of a pastoral visit realized by Monsenhor Silveira on 17 Aug 1888.
Physical characteristics: The volume is comprised of 49 numbered, covered folios. It shows some signs of deterioration due to ink damage. Dimensions: 36cm X 26cm.
