Two tax receipts for payments made in two villages of the Hermopolite nome.
Upper papyrus (A) (P.Lond. III 1095(a), TM 39603): Tax receipt for a payment of seventeen carats in the village of Sinape.
Lower papyrus (B) (P.Lond. III 1095(b), TM 39604): Tax receipt for a payment of seven carats made by Andreas, son of Heraclides, in the village of Selilais.

Two small papyrus sheets, bearing writing on one side, with the back being blank; mounted on cardboard in the same glass frame.
Upper papyrus (A): With minor surface damage; written across the fibres; 3 lines occupying the top of the sheet, with ample margin at the bottom; trace of ink in the lower right corner.
Lower papyrus (B): With minor surface damage, especially at the bottom; written across the fibres; 2 lines occupying the top of the sheet, with ample margin at the bottom.
