- Fragment of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, lacking its left-hand half, with about one-third of text having been lost, and with some surface damage; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. The front bears 27 lines, lacking the beginnings. Upper and lower margins survive; no margin was left on the right. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 226 x 75 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 285 x 125 mm.
Script: Four hands: lines 1-13: Medium-sized, somewhat irregular, upright hand, with ligatures; lines 13-18: Smaller cursive hand with a slight slant to the right; lines 19-20: Rough, thin hand, with some ligatures; lines 21-end: Bigger and thicker hand, rough and irregular.

Provenance: Arsinoite nome (?), Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 884-1178 from the Reverend Chauncey Murch (b. 1856, d. 1907) on 8 June 1901.
